Now I will post my Sunday crostic in a minute but you must know that my Sunday started very seriously. My computer jammed early this am as I was going to print my sermon outline out. It ended up jamming my powerpoint presentation as well. Frustration was edging its way in - or at least trying - and I thought to myself - umm - the sermon title is 'What is wisdom.' What is wisdom or foolishness in this situation. First it was take a deep breath, relax, breathe a prayer and finally trust God - He is the source of wisdom. I turned the computer off, walked away from it and finished other things. When I went back and turned it on the powerpoint worked - prasie God! So here you have it: A Serious Sunday

SUNDAY
S - Sunday is to be a day of rest and relaxation,
U - Unless one allows the worries, cares and troubles around to
N - Nudge their ugly way into one's attitude.
D - Do not for one minute blame it on another or something -
A - Always look at it as an opportunity to let the Spirit prove
Y - You can make wise choices; it is just a matter of what you choose!

Here is the Canadian Brass - a band that I love and learned about in Toronto when we lived there. I love to watch them as they do not just play - they add all kinds of fun to it. Will try to be back later and maybe tell you how many popup blocks flashes I had to deal with tonight!!

D - Don't waste another minute!
A - Absolutely get on board and make this your day!
Y - Yes - that was seven and this just reassures you to have a great and wonderful, glorious day!!!!!!!

Many of the blog posts lately seem to have the theme of love and some kind of relationships. When it came time to take down our Christmas tree I said to my hubby - it looks so beautiful I hate to take it down. He said how about making it a seasonal tree - so now it is called the love tree as it is decorated in red, white and pink hearts with a few other special ornaments. So our Friday will be about the 'Love Tree.'

FRIDAY:
F - For all the things that attract our attention in the world
R - Really the one and only that matters is love.
I - It is the root of our beginning - a creation of love;
D - Dramatically this little one enters the world needing love
A - And as adults we nuture this little one with love trusting it to
Y - Yield a harvest of love in a life lived out in the world.

So as you contemplate this day and the weekend where do you need to be more active in your loving - God, spouse, child, yourself, others?
