TUESDAY

T - Troubles all about and seem to be hunting you down?
U - Unfortunately, there are times like that in everyone's life.
E - Each one has a choice however; what to do with the situation.
S - So take up the challenge today - ask God what surprise this can
bring;
D - Do not doubt it; He can take a sad face and make it a glad face!
A - All right, take a deep breath, ask for His help and be ready -
Y - You will be so glad that you did!

Rest assured this came from the depths of my being this morning; I had a difficult ending to my Monday and still was in need of an attitude adjustment this am - so let me share a little story.
I am being spiritual support for another refugee lady with two special needs children. She arrived here 10 days ago. When at the doctor yesterday someone managed to steal her purse with $55 in it - all the money she had and would have until March 1. Someone immeditely gave $20 at the office; this am as AzRon shared this at a meeting someone said God told them to give him a check for her; when he looked at the amount it was exactly what had been in her purse and he never said how much was in her purse! Now is that not something wonderful?
She now has more money than initially. My attitude was rearranged as I was reminded how much God is in charge! So you all have a wonderful day!!!!

MONDAY

M - Monday is here again and for the merrier ones
O - Onward march begins at the crack of dawn!
N - Not all feel that anticipation it is true;
D - Doubtless though, it does make a for better start to one's week.
A - And so may you be encouraged today -
Y - Yield your face towards the sun and share its warmth around you
today!

SUNDAY

S - So how is your day with God going?
U - Understanding what He is doing is always a challenge.
N - Never knowing that our ministry 'Oasis For the Nations,' would
D - Do just that for refugees coming to America - be a spiritual
oasis.
A - Are you in need of an oasis for your soul?
Y - You too, can find refreshment when you take time each week to
nourish your spirit in the presence of God's Spirit on a regular
basis.

I write this as this morning our second refugee family from Africa joined our fellowship. I began this work with spiritual ministry to refugees just 7 months ago. I was afraid as I do not speak anything but English; but I have been so blessed by working with these families (the second just arrived 10 days ago) I am nearly overwhelmed. I do not know if you have refugees being settled in your community but I would challenge you - if you do - get involved in volunteering; you will get blessed more than you can ever imagine! You also will learn more than you probably ever learned the twelve years you were in school! Have a supreme Sunday!!!!! June

SATURDAY

S - Somewhere it is Saturday - no, it really is Saturday;
A - As much as one may not want it to be so - it is Saturday;
T - Today holds promise but for some it is mixed with sadness;
U - Understanding how and why one needs to say goodbye one last time.
R - Remember and treasure the precious memories that you hold
D - Dear in your heart; they are yours to keep.
A - As one remembers life is to be lived as long as one has breath;
Y - Yes, today is Saturday; the sun is shining and the greatest
promise is that the SON is shining in fullness and faithfulness
for each one of us here today. Trust Him for your Saturday.

This song is here in memory of our dear friend whose funeral was today. It is hard to be without him but we are thankful that he is with His best friend forever.
