SATURDAY
S - Snow and ice cover much of the ground;
A - A good day to listen to the sounds around;
T - Take time to enjoy and savor the quietness;
U - Untold rest can then be found.
R - Remember that all things were crested to rest,
D - Do not take it for granted the energy you have,
A - As one day it may be sorely depleted,
Y - Yielding and succumbing to the rush and the hurry.

F - For a safe trip to our son's we are thankful,
R - Rousting cold greeted us immediately;
I - Instantly Az Ron was ready to hibernate;
D - Dare he maybe making an excuse to snuggle with new grandbaby?

Y - You all remember that we will keep in touch when possible!

This is my Saturday night song already as I will be out of town hugging on my grand daughter - yes, again; this time I have to share her with AzRon too!!! If I am around on the stream I will stop in but not sure how things will go!
PRESIDENT'S DAY
P - Pause for a moment as you listen to this song;

S - So fortunate are we to have forefathers who were committed -

T - Today I suggest that we assume an attitude of gratitude,
S - Saying thank you to God above for all we enjoy today.

A - All you have to do is look at many other countries -
Y - Yes, or get to know some refugees and listen to their story -
You will realize how fortunate you are!

THURSDAY

T - Thursday was on its way to being ushered in last night,
H - Heralded by thunder, lightning and pouring rain!
U - Untold freshness greeted the morn along with the sunrise -
R - Rousing one's interest in living another day as a prize.
S - Some may wonder - as a prize - how can a day be a prize?
D - Do you ever stop to relise that it is a prize just to wake up?
A - As long as God gives the breath for life here on this earth,
Y - Yield yourself to enjoy each and every moment of the prize you
have been given!

Later tonight I will do a post for the weekend. We are heading to Virginia so AzRon can meet and 'spoil' his grand daughter!! And I am going along too - so special! Not sure how much we will be on the stream when we are gone (Friday - Wednesday night). So I will catch you later today. june
