TUESDAY

T - Today is another day to see God at work;
U - Untold surprises await so do not forget to look;
E - Even when it seems that there are clouds all around;
S - Still there is a glow from the sun somewhere to be found.
D - Did you see that? Did you hear that? Oh, do not miss it!
A - A little touch, a sweet smile, a compliment given in passing;
Y - Yes, it may seem to be oh so small - but the blessing can be oh so tall!!

Have an absolutely wonderful day!! I pray for each person to be blessed today who reads this message. Open their eyes and eas to the love of the Spirit for the newness You want to bring to their life. Amen.

M - Moving right along into another week;
O - Onward in life, stepping up to meet the challenge!
N - Now why not get excited and look for the good,
D - Do not allow doubt or fear to derail you so soon.
A - And you will have a simply wonderful life this week -
Y - You will never be the same!!!

Take the challenge and run with it even though it is Monday morning - I assure you - you will not want to miss out on one thing that God is going to do this week!!!! June (I will keep you posted on my 'God surprises')

SUNDAY

S - So many times one thinks that no one notices you;
U - Until there is a voice of a little one that speaks!
N - Never would it ever be imagined that it would be the words of a
child;
D - Doing the deed of making one feel completely undone!
A - As one's ears are attuned to listen there come the words -
Y - Yes, it is you that I love - "I love you!"

Sunday morning begins early for me and is very busy; by noon I have driven nearly 100 miles bringing two refugees families to and from church, led worship and sometimes preached as well. When the alarm goes off at 5:30 a.m. I want to stay in bed too - but today was a crowning day when this little three year old refugee boy said to me as I was leaving his house with gusto - 'I love you!' The tears run all the way home and I said to myself - 'You have been blessed like no other today; O Lord, help me never to comlain again about the people you place in my path to serve - no matter when I have to get up and how hard I have to work so they can know the love of Jesus.' Be blessed - and I encourage you - look around you today and each day this week and see where you can be a blessing!!!! June

IN THE STILLNESS

In the stillness of the earth
A hard, tiny seed is placed.
In the stillness of the earth
The seed breaks open and sprouts
Sending forth a seedling through the earth
Pushing its way to see the sunlight
And quietly begin to grow.

In the stillness of the air
The bud begins to form,
And slowly, quietly it unfurls,
Petal by petal bringing with it
Fragrance and beauty to share with the world.

In the stillness of our inner being
God has placed a tiny seed.
It is a seed that only He can nurture,
Break open and bring to life.

As one sits in the stillness with Him
The seed opens and new life begins;
A new life of walking with God
Moving towards His light for one’s life.

Quietly the growing happens
And one’s character begins to change;
Little by little, trait by trait –
Life is unfurled before the world –
Bringing a beauty of love –
Bringing a fragrance of peace –
Quietly – quietly – to the world.

U - Up until now they were hidden from you.
R - Rise up and touch the trees,
D - Do you not feel the new life that they hold?
A - Acknowledge the life that is within you -
Y - You have been given the gift of life for one more day!
