A Jesus' Alien on Earth

 TUESDAY TUFTS

TUESDAY

T - Tufts sure have a way of complicating life at times;
U - Undoubtedly they show up and can actually create quite a stir;
E - Eventually they need attention of one kind or another;
S - Softly and gently combing through and removing -
D - Daily tending to their appearance is by far the best.
A - As one leaves them hang around, clogs and clumps abound leaving muck all around.
Y - You can make a choice however; care for them when they first appear; life will then more richly abound!

Some of you may wonder where I get some of my ideas; frankly sometimes so do I except that I know the real source is God. But today I was inspired as I combed the tufts of hair from my two German Shepherds; and I said to myself, 'If you did this once or twice each week it would be so much more easy.' Have a wonderful day and will let my Rusty and Abby say hi to you today! Blessings, June

 Mountains on Monday

MONDAY

M - Mountains on Monday, you may wonder?
0 - On any given Monday, do we not often approach the week this way?
N - Negatively we get out of bed, approach the kitchen or the
workplace -
D - Doubting that anyone or anything could ever go right.
A - Attitude adjustment is called for immediately and then -
Y - You will be able to not only climb the mountain(s) this week but
actually enjoy the climb and the view from the top!

I pray that each and every one will have a wonderful mountain climbing experience this week! I am going to go for it; will you join me? Blessings, June

 An interesting weekend

This is different than most of my posts but want to share a bit of my life with you the last 36 hours.
As some of you know AzRon and I have a house fellowship church and we started working with African refugees about 7-8 months ago. We gained our second family from Liberia - a mother with two special needs children (onw due to illness and one due to injury). She came the end of January. The second Sunday I picked her up for church she said she had other Liberian refugees that wanted to come to church; this week the call came that four more wanted to come. WE had been praying for a van and doing a bit of looking; well yesterday we got a 12 passenger van and this morning it was nearly full; next week it will be and there are still some refugees that are working on their work schedule so they can come. We are busting at the seams in our house chapel so now space is the next challenge.
Now for the next challenge; while buying the van I got a call from a parishner who is 84 and was widowed last year. Her adult son who struggles with mental/addiction issues was called by someone he knew that was in prison; she had a baby on MOnday and asked them to take it until she is released in three weeks; they have taken the baby and then their toilet broke and they did not have the cash to hire an emergency plumber so I was called. The long and the short is that I went, I surveyed the situation; I then went and got parts and completely gutted the toilet's insides as well as all the water connections; they said it has not worked like this for a long time.
So consequently - I was quite behind on duites to prepare for this morning as I barely got my song posted last night and never got around the stream.
But I have been blessed serving God; how about you? Have you been complaining? Have you been grumbling? Have you had to run for your life from guerilla's? Have you had to live in a refugee camp for 5 years? Have you had to care for two children with extreme needs while also fleeing for your life and theirs as well being abused yourself? When I watch these people includng the children praise God even with language barriers; get excited that they can come to church and anxiously bring their friends; I ask you - is there a challenge for you? For me? Look around you and get involved; you bet it takes time and I also get tired but the joy is unbelievable!! I trust that you had a great Sunday and if not - take a moment to make it great from this minute on!
