SATURDAY

S - Sun is shining bright;
A - And the world is aglow.
T - Today is absolutely amazing,
U - Untold are the amazing wonders.
R - Rolling clouds overhead;
D - Dancing branches on the trees;
A - Waving flowers wafting aromas freely;
Y - Yielding blessings abundantly filled with amazement.

F - For all it is worth; are you out there chasing something?
R - Right now - stop; think a moment; what are you pursuing?
I - Is it important; is it necessary; is it worth the hassle?
D - Do you remember the most important thing today should be being
A - As thankful as you were yesterday?
Y - You should carry the thankful spirit with you the whole year through.

I will try and get around today a bit later; yesterday was too hectic and by the time I sat down at 6 p.m. I had no energy left even to compute! I trust you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving - June

THANKSLIVING
T – Today let us bask in the blessings given as we go into the world;
H – Healed within by the Spirit’s presence
A – And set free from the bondage of fear and worry.
N – Now we are commissioned to share this truth of life,
K – Kindling fires of hope and healing in the hearts of those we
meet,
S - So they too can know the miracle of life that brings peace
within.
L – Live your life each moment as if it may be the last;
I - Invest in the lives of those around you with the touch of love;
V – Venturing to walk beside them until life on earth is done.
I - It may take some of your time and even space and self but
N – Never withhold the blessings God has given you – no, not even
for a minute.
G – Give, and give thanks to God for all He has entrusted to you
as you give of Him through the gift of faith and love He has
given to you. Amen.

Lord, I am thankful for all my friends here on the stream; may they find peace in their hearts from your Spirit today. Amen.

WEDNESDAY

W - Well, here it is a Wednesday with much to do;
E - Everywhere you look there is something at your hand to do.
D - Do not despair,
N - No, not at all but carefully make a list -
E - Each duty there to place
S - So a feeling of accomplishment is gained as one by one they are crossed off that list.
D - Day is now drawing to a close
A - And you are tired and maybe a bit sore,
Y - Yet you know did your best and with yourself to made a winning score!

Preparations are coming at many of us as we anticipate our homes filling with guests and sounds of yummmy, yummy and laughter, joy and happiness.
But let us not forget the many who do not have this great time to anticipate and enjoy; for those in the service overseas, for those who have no place to call home, for those who have lost loved ones in the past year and this is the first Thanksgiving without them at the table, and those whose lives have changed drastically this year because of a misfortune /accident/illness of some kind. We pray dear God for Your presence in each of these people's lives with a snese of peace and comfort even if only a little bit - thank you God - amen.
