I chose these blue flowers as we often say we are moody on Monday and blue tends to be a color we use when we talk about moods being rather down or distressed.

MONDAY

M - Monday is a day of new beginnings,
O - Onward into a new week of work and activities one moves.
N - Notice, there are new things along the wayside of your day.
D - Do you take the time to appreciate them or just lash out at them as inconveniences or troublemakers?
A - Again it is the attitude with which one approaches the day -
Y - You are the one who makes that choice - so make it a beautiful day today with your approach and build a bouquet of flowers that encourage you as well as others along the way.

This is the inner part of a cactus when it dies; it is called a skeleton and provides the cactus with the ability to stand straight and tall. It also has the ability to absorb and store water for years when there is rain. Our skeleton of bones allows our physical body to stand tall and protects our organs; it is very important. Our spiritual life needs a skeleton as well so that we are able to stand strong in the walk of life here on this earth. To maintain its strength we need to take time to feed and water it - and for many that includes attending a spiritual gathering on a regular basis - for me it is Sunday worship with others.

SUNDAY
S - So each one has a choice to
U - Undergird the skeleton of one's spirit and
N - Not take for granted that you can make it through the week alone.
D - Drinking and nurturing take some time;
A - And sometimes even require the help of others.
Y - You need to make your choice today to build the strength and health of your spiritual skeleton.

S – Sometimes it seems as if life is a great struggle
A – And one wants to give up and end it all.
T – Things seem overwhelming – is the fight worth it all?
U – Until one takes a moment and allows the Presence of the Spirit to
R – Reach out and enfold you close one may not find rest and peace.
D – Do allow others around to encourage you;
A – And also take the time to love yourself by treating yourself to some personal time.
Y – You will then find revitalization within and without giving you new focus for your life once again.
